GT 740 SC 2GB vs Radeon HD 4850

I'm in the progress of setting aside money for major upgrade to my existing PC. I currently have an HD4850 1GB in my PC. I have access to a GT 740 SC 2GB card for $20. How much better is the 740 SC? Would it make a decent card until I figure out what card to actually get? I can only find info on the GT740, not the GT 740 SC. Thank you for any help.

Any SC/OC/SSC/ versions of GPUs are just overclocked. Probably the reason you can't find the SC GT 740. Stick with your 4850, the GT 740 is a bit weaker, even with the sc. You wouldn't see a real difference, but you'd probably lose a couple of frames. All of the games should play about the same, keep your $20 friend.

Anyone? I don't really need specifics on the 740. I just want to know a rough estimate of how much better it is than my 4850. Will it allow me to play Arma 3 any better?
