RAID arrays were originally developed many years ago to help improve hard disk drive performance. SSD performance has evolved to the point where RAID arrays are not necessary for ssd's. A modern 2.5 inch SATA 3 6Gb/s ssd is sufficient for most mainstream applications and gaming.
