I just wanted to wipe my HDD but I didnt know that it also started wiping my SSD. Ive read that using DBAN on SSD is harmful and should be avoided. Im not afraid that my SSD is gonna be destroyed after its done wiping it..

While DBAN is "harmful" in a way its not going to destroy your SSD. Heck it may not even permanently delete all the data on your SSD. What it will do is run for hours and waste write cycles which will shorten the life of your SSD. That said, depending on the type of user you are, you may never even find this ending point that your SSD will stop working.
However, imagine running it on an older SSD thats been run quite a bit. DBAN would likely put an end to it.

It should work fine. Unless its a very old and well worn SSD you did not do terrible damage to it, just wore it down a bit.

You can use drive benchmarking software like www.passmark.com to bench it against the same drive that other users may have. IMO don't waste the time 3 years isn't very long. Its probably fine.

Yes, there are many out there. Passmark is the easiest one to do and allows you to compare to other users with the same drive.
