I installed windows 10 (not by choice, it showed up as an update that I was unable to stop or delete, story for another day) and now my AI Suite doesn't open, as was recommended by someone I know I uninstalled the old version that came with the motherboard and went to install the version that works with windows 10.

I was going to upgrade to AI suite 3 but I cannot even find AI suite 2. Also do I need to update all of my Bios and other motherboard support files/programs???

Solution

Jason, I just posted with a problem finding a link for my MOBO, MGA99FX PR0 R2.0, which uses the same chipset as your Sabertooth. ASUS site says if you can't find Ai Suite for your specific MOBO, look for a link for another MOBO that has the same chipset as yours. You and I both have chipset 990FX. Also MOBO Crosshair V Formula Z

And I want to correct your info about Ai Suite 3 not being supported by your MOBO. ASUS has a list of devices that are Windows 10 ready. They say any device on that list should have a new Ai Suite 3 version to install.
Of course, just because ASUS says it...

Is there another program then that can monitor the Sabertooth's temperature sensors and is compatible with windows 10?? I have had trouble with motherboards before that were frying video cards which is why I went with the Sabertooth option. Having a program that I can monitor my temps with on really hot days provides me with piece of mind.

I have reinstalled Windows 10, and will give it another go, the upgrade version was very unstable.. I am still having a hard time finding a program to monitor my temps including all of the ones built into the Sabertooth x79 motherboard.

I am aware now that the ASUS AI Suite 3 is not supported by my mother board, and ASUS doesnt say that AI Suite II is supported by windows 10?

I have found people saying that you can indeed get the windows 8 version to work , but that doesn't sound very stable.

Of course, just because ASUS says it, doesn't make it a fact.
I want it mainly for the USB 3.0 Boost.. If I could just download a version of that for my board I'd be happy.

For monitoring temps and a whole lot more HW Info64 is it!! It monitors so many things, it takes a while to get through the settings to tell the program what you want to see. It's free and it's clean software. So if you haven't already, download HWiNFO. You'll love it. I can't believe it's free.
