I am building a new system, mainly for video editing/production and some photo editing as well as general PC work i.e. Docs, S/S. Publisher and Presentations. I am not a gamer and will not o/c. I had decided on the i7-6700 over the i5-6600 but then had a recommendation for the
Exon E3 1230 v5 .
Here in NZ the costs are:

Xeon E3 1230 v5 $458
The motherboard will be a choice between the:
Gigabyte H170M D3H ($205)
Gigabyte Z170M-D3H ($215)
