I am looking to add a hard drive with windows on it to a windows 10 machine for extra storage. At that point i will delete the older version of windows. Will there be an issue with the two different version of windows?

Hey there, bolejniczak!

Just like the other guys mentioned, you shouldn't face any issues. The operating system is tied to the motherboard where it was originally installed. You won't be able to boot from the other drive on your system anyhow. However, it is recommended to format the drive once you back up any data from it that is important to you. This other OS installation is useless, so you should definitely go to Disk Management and reformat & re-partition the HDD for secondary storage purposes.

Hope this helped. Best of luck! :)
