Hello all, I have an old PC (and by old I mean Pentium D processor old) and I'm gutting the case and putting new hardware inside to make a cheap (under $500) gaming build for a friend. I wanted to give a list of the parts I have saved to see if there are any potential issues or any recommendations from the community to improve the cost to performance ratio. And thank you, to whoever will take the time to read the list and leave helpful comments. :)

It looks good, but it doesn't include the OS, which adds an extra $100.

You can get it for free. I will give you steps for it later. Or I can give you now if you want.

I don't trust pirated software when it comes to important things like an OS.
