Help With Kepler vs Pascal

Hello, I need some advice on whether to choose between a GTX 780 SLi or
Wait for GTX 1070.

Found a pair of used MSI GTX 780 3GBLightning's for 300$ including EKWB Lightning Blocks for each. Sounds like a good deal but with the 1070 coming out soon I don't know which would be best for me. I tend to put games at max or close to max settings @ 1080p. Thanks!

A single more powerful card is always better. Not all games even support multiple cards and you have to factor in heat and power consumption as well. The stock 1070 will be slightly faster than a Titan X so it would be my choice.

1070 will still be faster than 780SLI in most if not all games. Plus new games will be tweaked better with the new architecture.

wow. massively overpriced for those 780tis. that's a 2 generation old card that's roughly the same power as a gtx970, which goes for about 300 new.

If your choice is a 780ti for 300 I would take pretty much anything else.
