[strike][/strike]I am planning to build my first PC and although I have done a lot of research, I just wanted to get some feedback.

I don't have a ton of money, so I'm semi limited. But I also want to have a good PC. Use it for gaming and school.

CPU:
i7 6900k (I have a deal where I get it for about $150 when it's released soon)

CPU Cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

Mobo:
Asus Asus Z170M-E D3 Micro ATX LGA1151

Memory:
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400

Storage:
Sandisk Z400s 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive AND
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

GPU:
Sapphire Radeon R9 290X 4GB

Case:
Deepcool TESSERACT SW ATX Mid Tower Case

PSU:
Thermaltake SMART 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Optical drive:
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Sound Card:
Asus Xonar DG 24-bit 96 KHz Sound Card

Wireless Adapter:
Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

The total cost will be about $800 after it's all said and done. Minor pieces and peripherals aside.

Please look it over and tell me what you think. I'm also a little unsure about technical aspects of putting it together. So I'll do a lot of research before I assemble it. Or just pay a company assemble it for me? Things like pastes I need or wires and PCI slots and fans(how many and what kind)...etc
Thanks guys

The 6900k is Broadwell-E and going to be socket 2011-3 and will not work on a socket 1151 board. You need to get a x99 motherboard. You will also need DDR4. The PSU is poor quality and not a unit I would use or ever suggest using.

Intel i7 7700 doesn't exist and won't ever exist..? You're better off getting a non-K CPU, getting rid of the aftermarket cooler, getting a H170 motherboard, getting DDR4 instead of DDR3, getting a 250GiB Samsung 840/850 SSD instead of Sandisk, getting a GTX 1070 instead of 290X, getting Seasonic PSU instead of Thermaltake and getting rid of the sound card

You're right, sorry about that. I typed 7700 but that was a mistake. It's the i7 6900k that my deal is for. I don't get to pick which one. Its just "hey we have this deal for the about to be released i7 6900k, you get it for $150." It's an arrangement with Intel. So the K CPU is a must. That's why I chose the Z170 motherboard. No to the CPU cooler? DDR4 would just be expensive and I'd have to get a different compatible motherboard, so more money. I would rather have the Samsung SSD but it was a matter of cost. I might pay $22 more for the 250gb Sandisk ssd, but Samsung is too big of a price jump. I'm not going to get the 1070 for sure lol. That's definitely going to be too much. I'm keeping GPU costs below $300 and I can get the 290x for under that price. As for the PSU I have no idea, maybe you're right about that. I'll look into the price difference.

I just realized that with that CPU I have to get ddr4 ram. Dang. So that changes the memory I picked and the mobo. Ugh
