Hey guys!

So, here is the thing. I am trying to boot up my Alienware X51. When I turn it on it just enters BIOS automatically. My Bios version is A01. My harddrive (A Seagate HDD) is detected in Device information as the "Sata Port 1". However, it cannot be found in the boot priority list. I do not have an OS, so I cannot update BIOS. I have an USB with a Windows ISO file but with good reasons it cannot be installed since my harddrive cannot be found in the boot priority list. I cannot change my BIOS to Legacy mode. What can I do? Any help is appreciated! Pictures can be found here:

Solution
That appears to be the Intel H61 chipset with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). You need to add the SATA driver to the beginning of the Windows installation for the drive to work.

Thank you so much for your answer. I do not have the former harddrive, which was pre-installed with Windows 7 (Sorry for not telling in the description).

All I have is the Seagate Harddrive with Windows Vista on it. I've used Sysprep to reset it from settings etc. The harddrive boots normally on other computers but not on the x51.
