If you keep your volts down, you might be able to disable Turbo and run all 8 cores at 4GHz --- maybe 4.1GHz.

As noted, there are some really great deals on AM3+ mobos these days. The Asus 970 Pro Gaming is $90 after rebate. The Gigabyte -UD3P Rev2 was on sale last week for $70.

For high clocks you need the 8+2 PWM . . .

edit: Assuming you are in the US Here is a combo with the FX-6300, the -UD3P and 8GB of RAMs for $216 before rebate.

That combo drops $20 or so every few weeks . . .

I'd argue you can do 4.3/4.4 on the ds3p with a 6 core.

However I do absolutely agree , the ud3p is $15-20 more & is absolutely worth it simply because its voltage regulation setup is 'that good'.

Im living in the UK and the website doesn't have that motherboard :(

Amazon.uk £66.05 & FREE Delivery in the UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-970A-UD3P-Motherboard-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00F5R9O46/278-1179316-7016413?ie=UTF8&tag=pcp0f-21

Because you are in UK, maybe check out the intel build, the price will be almost same, but the i3 6xxx will be better, also if you don't mind either intel or AMD.

Rishard01- what website ??
As cin19 pointed out its readily available x almost anywhere in the UK.

Is it a spec your own prebuild you're looking at or building yourself??

Cin19 s build is good although being UK myself I know there are a couple of better buys that don't show on part picker.
