I'm planning to get and overclock a GTX 1070 when it comes out, but I have an old GTX 465 that I'd like to use as a dedicated PhysX card.

When I used the PSU wattage calculator, the baseline recommended wattage was 832w, with overvoltage of the 1070 set at 50%. However, the amount of wattage recommended goes up as the clock speed goes up. As I do not know how much I will be overclocking the 1070, I'd like to know if I should get the 850W or the 1000W version of the EVGA Supernova G2.

I'd rather not get the 1000W version unless needed.

I also have an i5 3570k at ~1.275v clocked at 4.3GHz, if that helps.

850w should be fine.
However, you will lose performance if you use the 465 for Physx. The 1070 is far too powerful for the 465, so it will be waiting on it to finish its Physx before it can move on, reducing FPS.
Let the 1070 handle its own Physx.
