recently I have been looking to place my pc in the basement for the purpose of being able to be by myself to maximize productivity while working; however, I would also like to play games and stream movies from my pc on the tv I have upstairs. I was considering a steam link, but I can only stream games with that and the quality is not all that great. I don't have a very good wireless connection and I would rather just try this method. What I was looking to do was use the HDMI to Ethernet converter and hook that up to my pc. After that I would hook the Ethernet part of the converter to the power line by my pc. I would then take the other power line that revives and hook that up near the tv. Then I would take the out put, convert it back to HDMI and then plug that into the tv. Just wondering if that would work, and if not then other similar alternatives. Thanks for the help!
