So here's my problem. I upgraded my CPU cooling fan because the old one was factory and extremely loud.

The problem I am having is that the fan covers 2 of the ram lots. so I am only able to use the two ram slots furthest from the CPU. The problem I am running into is that the BIOS and Windows 10 only sees 1 card installed effectively halving my ram. Both sticks are 4GB sticks, so I should have 8 GBs.

My question is: Is there any way to remap how the MB reads which slots have ram so I can get all 8 GBs, because my machine is running woefully slow with only 4GBs?

MB: MS-7640
RAM: Corsair Vengence DDR3 High Profile

It's the Heatsink that is large and wide. I apologize, But I don't think its adjustable.
It's a Shuriken Rev.B Quiet Low Profile CPU

They are not mixed RAM, they are all Corsair Vengeance RAM Sticks.
