so i decided to oc my gpu using the sapphire trixx software. my stock clock speed is 1070 and memory is 1550 (btw, i did not touch the memory clock at all)

here is my build btw
intel core i5 3350p oc @ 3.5 ghz
asrock z75 pro3
stock cooler (installing gyper 212 tomorrow)
sapphire r9 280x vapor-x 3gb oc. btw its the one with 2 fans, not 3
8gb corsair vengance 1600mhz
2x500gb wd blue hdds
1tb wd blue hdd
samsung 840 evo 128gb
corsair cx 750m psu

i used the trixx software to overclock, alright software tbh (never used any other program so i dont know actually xD) and i used the unigine valley benchmark
i went from 1070 to 1100, and it was stable, ran the benchmark, got something 1950-ish points, maby i gained some points, and , and so i went up about 30 until i got to 1170, and it was still fine, then i bumbed it to 1200, and the screen went black, and a message told me that the drivers had crashed. and since the program was still there, but not "open", i could not access task manager by mouse. i got the program closed, and reset the clock speed, since i was pretty scared at the time xD. well i tried to run it on the stock speed, and i noticed the fps had dropped by MINIMUM 20 fps, most likely more. i went from 50-53 avg fps on the first 3 scenes, to 27-30 avg fps, no settings changed. i tried going to 1100 but still no change. did i ruin something or what?
plz help me.
