I need help upgrading my computer! Here are my specs,
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor 3.80GHZ
RAM: 8.00 GB
Graphics Card - AMD Radeon R7 200 series
Power Supply - EVGA 430w
Windows 64 bit-operating system
Monitor - LG Flatron 2011

Looking to game, keep games running smoothly and looking good.

I have a older LG Flatron from 2011. Power of 12v
I am looking to run games smoothly and have them look good.
I have around 150 to possibly 200 upgrade wise at the moment.

Your best bet looks like upgrading your video card to a GTX 950 or 960. Should work OK with your CPU and PSU.

You would just replace your existing graphics card. If you currently have a low profile card, you'll need to use a low profile GTX 950/960.

You'll need to take the side cover off and look at the graphics card. If you can give me the brand/model number of your PC, I might be able too look it up.

but be do need more specifics, e.g there are alot of "AMD Radeon R7 200 series" out there
a 280 is fine, a 220 is not for example,
what is your mother motherboard model ?: msi, gigabyte, and then model specific gigbyte -hd3...what not

if you have a 280r7 or290x then i would invest all your money in a AMD 8350 and upgrade your powersuply to atleast brandname 550 or 650watt

if you litrally have a 200 radoen then you will need a 960-970 nvdia to speed things up alittle.

I have a radeon r7 240, it said its baseboard is by gigabyte, but the model says not available.

You can use a any of the GTX 950/960's on that model.

get a fx 6300 (or a 8300) its cheap and is a good improvement from a 4300 and can overclock really well pair that up with a gtx 960 and your good to go

@Epicness937 the 240r7 is too slow even a oced 6300fx wont help that. he will see more performance gain with a new grafics card, if anything at all i would get a new cooler for his current 4300fx and oc that a bit.
