I have 8gb of ram 2 4gb sticks

and when i put both sticks in and look in bios it says i have 6000 or so MB of memory size but when i load into windows it says i have 8 GB installed but 2.1 is hardware reserved 5.9 available

I have msi a78m-e35 motherboard
2*4GB sticks of Gskill rip Jawz ram
AMD athlon x4 760k
gigabyte gtx 660 oc edition
cx 430w psu

yeah but ive seen people with almost this same set up without the ram problem

one stick of my ram works fine but i tried the second stick without the first stick in and im only getting 1.9gb usable ram and 2.1gb is hardware reserved what can i do to fix this also i have used cpu-z it says that it a 4gb stick
