Hey guys, I'm getting a lot of stuttering and massive frame drops in the games that I'm playing and was planning to get a single gpu instead. Should I upgrade to a single gtx 980 or wait for the gtx 1070 to release?

Pc specs:
i5 4690k 4.5ghz
16gb ram
r9 280 crossfire
750w gold psu

Solution
Go for the gtx 1070 Toms hardware have been sent the 1070 and it beats the 980 ti, r9 fury (x sometimes) AND the titan x which is like £1010 online, so it is definitely the 'bang for the buck' It i does better in project cars, ashes of singularity, GTA and even battlefield 4 EVEN THOUGH IT IS AMD OPTIMISED. tHE ONLY CARD IT DOESN'T BEAT IS THE GTX 1080 OBVIOUSLY!! SO GET IT! I IS COMING OUT ON JUNE 10TH

nah nvidia is way better i wouldn't touch amd they overheat power hungry unreliable where nvidia can go & go & go for longer than any amd card ever can do & the 980s are good cards & be great value & most the bugs been sorted where new cards means bugs bug & bugs always wait a decent 6months before u go for any new gen cards

The Titan price tag is not an argument, it's a dev card.

Also please, just stop the info publicity.
