Hey,
I've recently purchased an 'APC Back-UPS BR1500G-IN 1500VA UPS' with an APC BR24BPG Back-UPS Pro External Battery Pack which is specifically meant for this UPS. Frist few days of usage showed atleast a 240+ minute backup battery when I put my computer on power saver mode. One time the electricity went out for around 3 hours and my computer lasted that long (with some more time to spare). Recently there was low voltage flow into my building causing the UPS to go to battery mode. The next day it shows only 60 minutes of backup battery even on power saver mode. Is this something that I should be concerned of? Do I try and put my UPS into battery mode and see how it it actually lasts? I would love your opinions and solutions to this.

P.S. I'm not sure what topic this comes under. Sorry about that.

First of all I "second" das_stig's suggestion: Call APC.

Could be the electrical problems being experienced in your location may interfere with UPS batteries ability to get recharged/fully recharged.

Or otherwise causing communication problems with respect to "status" and available backup time.

Barring something along those lines one of the two devices (UPS or battery pack) may be faulty.

Just an update on my UPS. I tried fixing it myself by removing the backup and reattaching it back. The backup time when down all the way to 25 minutes only. Today the elecrticity went out, back up time almost up, electricity came back and went again 5 minutes later, backup was at 100% (WTF) and I had a backup of 200 minutes. What did I miss here lol?!
