I've currently got a Dell Precision 690 with 2 pairs of Raid 1 HDDs set up through the Bios (as opposed to done in software).
However I've just bought a new computer with an Asus x99 rampage v extreme MOBO and want to move my current HDDs from the Dell into the Asus, keeping the Raid 1 format.
My question is: How can I do this?
Are Raid controllers all compatible making it as easy as moving the HDDs from one pc into the other? Or is this going to be a painful task of backing up my data, wiping them, setting up the RAID, and then reinstalling everything?
