Will my motherboard Support an i7 4790k

i have a motherboard with an LGA 1150 socket type all i want to know is will an i7 4790k work? and also will my motherboard support K processors because the processor i am currently using is an i5 4460 which is a locked processor. according to speccy my motherboard has an LGA 1150 socket type on it so i just want to make sure if it will work or not.
 
Solution
If your going to use the stock heat sink that comes with the CPU then you can just use the thermal paste thats already on it but if you have an after market CPU cooler then you'll will have to apply thermal paste on the CPU before installing the cooler and the pea size thermal paste amount is good and the i7 4790k is a haswell CPU so you will be fine.

ahh thats okay then i guess ill go and purchase one just a quick question do i need to apply thermal paste to my new processor or will it already be pre applied because ive been hearing i should put thermal paste the size of a pea on the back of the processor before putting it in to set then proceed to put the heatsink and cpu cooler on top.
