Solution
All of the above info is really nice, but kinda useless. Kb's and mice are extremely personal items, you can have the most advanced, gimmicky, perfect gaming setup that you simply can't stand to use. Plan on cherry switches? Red, blue, brown? What's good for your fingers? Does the mouse fit your hand comfortably? Does it feel awkward?

Go get your hands dirty. Get to a pc store or places with components available for you to touch. That's where you'll find what works for you, regardless of exact brand or specification.
