Attempting First Build (Gaming Computer) Looking for Feedback Please

Hello guys, I'm reaching out because I've decided to build a PC for my Simulator and before I put everything together I want to make sure I got the right stuff. I'm not a computer guy, I ordered all the parts based on videos I watched on youtube.

Here is the list:

MOTHERBOART: ROG STRIX X99
2X GTX 980
INTEL CORE i7 5820K 3.3 GHz
CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES H110i GT DUAL
2X 28" 4K UHD MONITOR
2X 1TB V-NAND SSD 850 EVO (SAMSUNG)
1 SSD 950 PRO NVMe 512GB
MASTER COOLER 1000
RAM: 64GB G.SKILL 2400MHz Quad Channel DDR3

Budget is $4000
The list I posted I already bought. Just wanted to make sure it is the right stuff. After I bought the 970's I learned about the 980's and the new 1080. Everything still in the box or on its way. Don't mind returning if you think it's not the right combination.

if you like to spend , you can also try an auxiliary intel cpu , like those that install on the pci e slot

You wasted a lot of money as some things are incompatible and a lot of things are over priced

For example you went for DDR3 ram and are using motherboard which supports DDR4

If possible send all things back or if you bought in local store get them replaced by the list of parts I provide.

If you already have SSDs then no need to replace them. But replace all other parts.

If ASUS said they recommend ROG STRIX GAMING then it must be good. But still try asking them difference in SABERTOOTH and STRIX GAMING what is the big difference.
