i have a recently built desktop with a MSI z170-a M3 motherboard. however, there seems to be no sound coming from the front panel audio jacks while those working on the back seem to work fine.
i have installed realtek audio drivers from the MSI website and have all playback devices except "speakers" and "realtek digital output" disabled with "Speakers" set to default.
i have tried disabling the front panel jack detection on the Realtek HD audio manager to no avail.
any suggestions / solutions?
