I am unfortunately out of date with what's been going on with computer hardware for many years. I purchased my computer in 2013 or so, and for every aspect - including most games - it is awesome and still fine today. In fact, a lot of the time I just use tablets these days. But, I'd like to be able to play Total War: Warhammer with better graphics and framerates, so I figure it's probably time to replace my video card.
Will I be able to swap my HD Radeon 7800 with a Radeon R9 380 with little trouble? Any other card recommendations. I'd like to spend somewhere between $180-250 CAD. The $350+ cards are out of the question.
My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V. It has a PCI-Express x16 slot on it.
My Power Supply is a thermaltake and its 700W.
The case is an Antec. I couldn't tell you the model of it though.
