Hello everyone, I'm having new computer build issues.

So, here's some info about the pc.
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-990FX
Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 390X
PSU: Rosewill Capstone-G750, Capstone G Series 750W
Processor: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz
RAM: HyperX FURY 8GB 240-Pin DDR3
I also have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO installed, along with a 1tb hard drive, a disk reader, a wireless LAN card, and 4 LED fans. I have a Razer Mamba mouse and a Razer Blackwidow chroma keyboard.

Now, on a side note. The motherboard has a digital display which lights up, and small buttons on it.

Sometimes, the computer starts normally. The fans light up and go, the digital display spits out numbers, the keyboard and mouse light up, and finally the welcome screen is displayed on the monitor.

The issue occurs when the pc is powered on. I would say the % chance of the pc running is random. Sometimes it works right away, sometimes it takes 2 tries, sometimes 10.
Anyways, the LED fans glow and spin. All of the components seem to get power. The motherboards digitizer spits out numbers. Then, the digitizer goes blank. The keyboard never lights up, the mouse never lights up, and the computer never outputs a display. It simply sits in this "stasis" mode, all fans running, all components apparently getting power, but it never gets to the next step, persay.

At first i thought it was the power supply, or something with power distribution. Then, i suspected the thermal paste job i did on the processor. (Used the pea-sized dot technique) Now, after encountering this issue enough, ive noticed the motherboards digital display going blank whenever the pc crashes. This leads me to believe it is the motherboard.

Help! I know unplugging the computer to turn it off is bad for the components, but theres no way to turn it off once it goes into stasis mode. This issue must be addressed, ive simply run out of hope, which leads me here.

Solution
Try reseating all your components and connections first. I would also try borrowing a different PSU and see if that helps any. Slight chance you might have bad memory, so run memtest to check for errors. If all else fails, RMA the motherboard.

Replaced the RAM with different sticks, replaced the psu, with a larger one, tried several different cords for everything, reseated the processor and cooler, even tried different hard drives. In the end, too much time had passed to RMA. Just bought a new motherboard, and it seems to work fine. The hard drive wont read now, bit im just so tired of dealing with this, buying a different brand hard drive will be a breeze and should work fine.
