Hi, i'm currently suffering some weird ping spikes where around every 30 seconds or so my ping will spike from 50ms to around 3000ms. This only lasts for a couple of seconds but some games i play i can't afford to have this spike so regularly. I have no one else using my network. I Used my CMD to ping google and was getting consistent 50-60ms but experiencing these weird spikes every 30 seconds or so. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks Dan

You need to ping your router and the first ISP router..ie the first 2 hops in the tracert. When you see this issue determine where the problem starts.

If it is your router then it is in your house, could be even the pc. Killer network chipset in some PC do strange stuff like this. If it is ok to the router but the ISP router has issues this is the connection from your house to the ISP. You would need to call the ISP.

If it is farther away you might not be able to do much about it. It represents some issue in the ISP network or between ISP.
