Hi guys.

I am having a problem controling my CPU cooler fans (Kraken X61). Every software I tried has it grayed out. Until few days ago I had the same cooler but different components: FX9590, Crosshair Formula Z MB. I bought 6700k and Asus Z170 MB. I had to turn off fan control in BIOS as it wouldn't let me boot up. Ah yes, I also exchanged those crappy Kraken fans for be silent! silent wings 2. Any idea? Thanks!

My rig:

i7 6700k (4.6 OC)
Asus Z170-A
4x8gb Corsair 2888 ddr4
Gpu 1 - GTX Titan X
Gpu 2 - GTX 970
psu - be quiet dark power pro 11 (1200w)

got 2 ssd , dvd and 2 hdd drives if it matters

When I turn the fan speed control on it says:

CPU Fan speed error detected.
Ensure that the CPU fan is properly installed on the CPU_FAN header or adjust/disable the Fan Speed Low Limit option the UEFI BIOS.
Press F1 to Run SETUP

That's not the problem. I did that few days ago, but the problem is that my cooler fans are not controllable. I can hardly hear the fans and my PC overheats. I never had that problem before changing my motherboard. I generally controlled everything with NXZT Cam software.
