Let me first say I dont know very much about computers. Just to get that out there. I am 14 years old, so if you wright an answer have it so I can understand please.

I am using stock cooler. My idle temperature is about 35-45C. which seems a bit high.
I play borderlands 2 and Rocket League both on max settings with FPS cap set on 70-80. My pc gets to 70-75C which seems ridiculous to me.

Now, I know I have a bad case. and to buy a new case and move all parts to that one is basically building the computer, which I dont know how to do because mine was pre-built.

So my case is from iBUYPOWER. Its a pretty big case actually, but is made of plastic and has about 3 - 4 fans I think in it. the plastic I think captures a bunch of heat and makes it very hot.

Is there anything I can do to my case besides getting a new case, and adding a bunch of fans, to make it cooler in there? Like I dont know, this might sound dumb, but poke holes in the sides of my case? It may get more dust but I can dust it often.

I am just very scared about my temperatures and REALLY do not want my computer to break.

EDIT: I have not Dusted or put on thermal paste yet!!!! I plan on doing it VERY soon though!

Thank you!!!

I did not take the entire side off, but there was a little door thing in front of my tower, with plastic slabs over it. I took those off and left the door open and I actually get 2-5c cooler!!!! I put a housefan relatively close to it aswell. So it definately is a airflow issue. I also dusted a little bit.
