FX6300 70C Degrees while gaming

Solution
I'd argue that that cooler is no better than the stock amd one (probably worse)

If these issues have only started recently though you obviously have issues , either with contact/thermal paste or with the fan itself .
Check it over , is the fan running ok ??

As I said before you are getting to the stage where those temps are going to be harmful to your whole system.
Not a great cooler but should be doing better than that.
Assuming you fitted it yourself you did apply the silver based heatsink compound that comes in a little sachet ??

Because from those temps it looks like you have no thermal dissipation whatsoever.

OK this opinion is not very popular but I had a similar issue with a FX-6100 with stock cooling; everybody recommended me to upgrade the CPU cooler but the options seemed bad quality unless I was willing to expend 90%+ the cost of the CPU itself which seemed just illogical, I went and tried to keep the case fresh instead and worked like a charm and all it took was three 120 mm fans well placed (2 outakes in the upper part, one intake in the lower part, my cpu rarely hits 60 degrees on full load. How ae you cooling your case?

yep everything works fine.Funny part is on prime 95 test it only reaches max 64 degrees but while gaming it reaches 72-73 i guess poor air flow in case and gpu also heats up like 85 degrees plus we are having the hottest summer here 34 degrees

im gonna buy cm hyper 212 evo see if that changes anything.
