Any way this is possible? My router is not connected directly to the cable modem and the router wifi is disabled. I want to use it as a bridge for my file transfers and computer to computer interactions. My laptop has it's own WIFI which is connected to the internet.
It works fine but after a while there will be errors and the router will interfere with my wifi connection and slow it down then no internet signal. I have disabled the WIFI on the router so I think it's more of which connection to prioritize where the internet signal is being read from.
I also am not using a static IP.
