I want someone to explain to the best of their ability just how important is the frequency, capacity, and CL is to performance. Obviously You're going to notice a difference between 1333MHz and 2400MHz, but is a jump from 1600MHz to 1866MHz, or 1600MHz to 2133MHz even noticeable? I would also like to know, whats going to give me better performance, 1600MHz CL9 or 1866 CL10? Would going after something kind of rare like 1333MHz CL6 or CL7 be worth it? Thanks.

APU's moving from 1600mhz to 1866mhz to 2133mhz to 2400mhz, Each step is a minor increase but noticeable. Going from 1600mhz to 2400mhz on average will gain you 20% but it some titles and with the newer APU's then it can be as much as 30%.

CL how does it differ in Gaming? It's very marginal going from 9 to 11 will lose at most 2 fps. If your into more memory intensive tasks then you would notice a larger gap in performance. For DDR3 CL...
