CPU and Motherboard on current setup have bit the dust. Looking to upgrade components that I have and know are still working properly are:
-Thermaltake Level 10 GT
-ASUS Mars 760 dual GPU Graphics Card
-Samsung EVO 128GB SSD for OS
-WD 2TB HDD
-Antec 850W Modular Platinum P/S

Have been looking at the
-i7 6700k Skybridge
-Gigabyte G1 Gaming GA-Z170X Gaming 7
-Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX
-G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000

Any advice would be much appreciated. This is my second build and I feel that I kind of burned myself on the last one not doing to research or asking people with more experience in this on what would be a smarter choice. I don't know much nor have messed with OC but it is something that I would want to learn how to do not sure if this will play a factor in what is recommended or not.

Thanks in Advance.

Could be, 16GB is generally fine for most people (gaming, editing and the like) and no, there's no real need for DRAM coolers, have a small collection of them from DRAM sets I've gotten and never had a need for one, even with a full load of DRAM that is OCed above and beyond spec. Many like them for the looks

So if I didn't do the editing that much DRAM would be overkill? Also would you recommend a cooler for the DRAM?
