Hi, Is this a good CPU build for pure gaming? Any suggestions are welcome!

Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 3
Processor: Intel i5 4690k
RAM: corsair 16gb 1600
GPU: Asus STRIX GTX 970
PSU: Seasonic 750X gold
HDD: Seagate 1TB
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i GTX

Go with skylake its a much better option to have ddr4 now, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/r6RMnn

but wait wait wait hold on for a second the Gtx 1070 releases around or within a week so you dont want to miss that option or wait for the prices on this tier of GPUs to fall, if you cant wait a 390 is a good option not a 970 its like a "MidRage" card now that starts to show its limits on more then medium textures in games nowadays because of that 3.5GB vram issue.

From past experience and ownership a 1TB HardDrive isnt enough I would get a 2-3TB. With all games being around 50-60GB and some patches updates and texture loaded mods keep adding.

and trust me for storage go WesternDigital not seagate, Its far too long I have trusted them and for about 10-20$ more you are getting WD over seagate which in my opinion is allot better as seagate has a prooven high failure rate A 1TB maybe ok for you if you use it a bit tightly but no seagate and imo 120-160gb ssd should be enough but the ssd part depends on you.
