I found this guide
http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Secret-Hard-Drive-Safe-turn-your-old-brok/
And was wondering if i could put some other magnets to keep it together?
Have looked at NdFeB Neodymium Magnets.

Or will this hurt some other electronics these days? Only got led tv and ssd disks.

Thanks for all the help.

I would think you wouldn't want to put it IN your PC because the entire PC is likely to be stolen. Just put it in a closet. It looks like a dead hard drive that nobody is going to think twice about. The article recommends using one of the head actuator magnets removed from emptying the innards of the disk drive.

Depends of who you hide it from. But yes, it isnt the best place.
Yeah, i see he recommends the original.
The question is actually if the computer will take damage from the extra magnets now a days?

I don't know. The magnets would be inside the hard drive shell. SSDs aren't susceptible to magnetic fields. He didn't say this in the article but I would write DEAD on the hard drive in sharpie to even more emphasize it as a dead disk...

Probably. But I wouldn't recommend putting them in the case because the PC is likely to be stolen. A box in a closet is really a much more secure location. Hide in plain sight. Make sure you pad whatever you are going to put in there so that it doesn't rattle and arouse suspicion.
