Alright so my last last microphone was a usb one and being held together with tape so I decided to get a new one. . Bought a brand new one and it's making a horrible static sound for people. I've tried using different plugins, turning off micboost, and bought a usb soundcard. Nothing has worked. This one uses the jacks but I put it through the usb adapter with no luck. Any other things I can try before I take this piece of shit back?

Just read something on touching the computer case to see if it's static build up. That did reduce it. I have a flat screen tv I use as a second monitor and when I turned it off it completely eliminated the issue. Aside from stopping use of the flatscreen is there any way to fix this you think? case sits right behind it now but even when I had them a couple feet away it did this.
