will a CX750 run a 780ti?

Buying a 780ti because its only £30 more than a 770 but i will need to upgrade my psu from a cx550. will a cx750 be enough to run with a 780ti and an i5-3450?

The CX 550 will run the 780ti and the i5 3450. But the durability on that power supply is not good. Upgrade later to a seasonic,xfx,evga or enermax after you buy the 780ti.
