I am in the process of building a new PC for gaming and graphic editing needs. I am on a tight budget of 1k and will not want to stretch it, for now I have looked at the below,

》i7 6700k 4ghz
》GTX 970 STRIX
》16mb DDR 4 RAM
》 250gb Samsung evo 850 SSD
》 2gb internal seagate HDD
》 coolermaster elite 130 MITX casing

I am resorting to a M-ITX due to space limitations in my house as well as for aesthetics, however am unsure of which motherboard to go for and a cpu cooler that would fit the chassis perfectly. Also as I had mentioned I don't want to break the bank.

Next question is if replacing the processor with an Intel I7 4790k, would that make a difference to the gaming fps? And if this is a good option then what would be a good budget Mobo?

If anyone can suggest a different configuration that would reduce the cost with good overall gaming performance, that would be most welcome.

Thanks

Hi dude, definitely go with the 6700K rather than the 4790K..

As far as a miTX goes, I would definitely recommend a basic Z170 ATX moboard.. Along with the option to OC the cpu, the 4-RAM slots on the Z170 ATX chipset would allow us to add RAM rather thab replace RAM...

I would recommend...
