Missing Ram on laptop

I bought a laptop off amazon, refurbish.

Acer Aspire E1-771

Advertised to have 6GB of DDR3 ram, I ran dxdiag because it was loading pretty slowly and it shows in the report that there's only 2gb ram being detected.

It been several months since I got it so it's too late for a refund.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

thats interesting, the first screen in the BIOS usually gives a system summary that would include the amount of ram. the best program i found to see system info within windows is CPU-Z. you can download it for free, run it, and then go to the memory tab and it will show you all your memory specs

you used the wrong test. that test you ran is for gpu ram not system ram. use cpu-z look under memory tab or use spacy form people that made ccleaner and your bios screen. if it shows two gig of ram then one of the ram stick may have pop out in shipping.
