Hey all, sorry if this question has been asked a lot. I've tried looking into previous questions about a i5 with the 1070 but still want to ensure it'll be ok.

Current setup:
- i5 3330
- MSI B75A-G43 Gaming motherboard
- Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1600 16GB
- Corsair 500w psu
- EVGA 960 4GB SSC
- NZXT s340 case

I have no doubt the case and psu will be fine (current 960 uses 8pin power and so will most of the 1070 variants) but will the CPU possibly bottleneck the 1070?

Thanks for any answers :)

Edit: I will not be upgrading to any resolution higher than 1080p for a long time. Also, I'm mainly looking at this card because my 960 struggles with some ENBs and other graphics mods.

My PSU is a CX500M.

Would my current CX500M be alright though as a temporary solution? (will probably upgrade my psu later if I can)

Ok. I've decided that I'm going to purchase a higher tier power supply just to be sure. Found the EVGA G2 650w doesn't cost as much as I thought it would and is ranked in tier 1 of two commonly used tier lists (list on here and other on LinusTechTips forum).
