Hello guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my system, mainly for gaming purpose, I has been checking the new GTX 1080 I'm just waiting for the hype to past and get it on it's real price or maybe go for the GTX1070, I'm planning to move to 2560x1440 monitor once I find a good deal on a monitor.
My old motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE died and I was unable to find another one because ASUS discontinued the production. So I used a cheap one meanwhile I decide what to do.

This is my current rig:

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor 3.5 GHz 8 MB Cache LGA 1155
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2048MB GDDR5, DVI, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort, 4-way SLI Ready Graphics Card Graphics Cards 02G-P4-2680-KR
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache
SDD: Samsung Electronics 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 128 SATA_6_0_gb Solid State Drive MZ-7PD128BW
MOBO: Gigabyte LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX DDR3 1600 Motherboards GA-B75M-D3H
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CML16GX3M4A1600C9B)
Case: Thermaltake CHASER MK-1
PSU: Cooler Master Silent pro-M 850W Modular

I mainly play FPS, MOBAS and MMORPG, I do not have a problem playing some of they at decent settings but I'm looking to improve the performance without need to change all my rig, I brought my pc back in 2012, but I want to "invest in the future" so I can keep playing new games for example Battlefield 1 that I'm looking to be able to play it on max settings.

Looking to keep all the parts I could if they still perform well and not worth the switch but at this moment I have just 1200$ to spend.

yeah I'm waiting for the hype to pass because right now is almost impossible to get the card for it's real price.
