need help with linksys wap300n

hey guys my brother bought a Linksys wap300n wifi extender which is a piece of trash.
so I wanna configure it but it have no way to configure it.i wanna connect it to my router to expand our wifi connection but this thing doesn't had any setup CDs or any thing but it have a ip address which is 10.100.1.1 which either doesn't work plz help me and thanks in advance

At least, according to the Linksys website and user's manual -- http://downloads.linksys.com/downloads/userguide/WAP300N_UG_EN_3425-01640A_Web,0.pdf It was SUPPOSED to have a CD with it....

BUT if you plug it into your router, it will DHCP. You can then look at the list of devices your router knows about and use the IP address listed to go to the web based admin.

now i can open browser-based utility....but i don't know how to connect it to my router
