PSU- gx ii 550w or corsair vs550w

Hey guys :D
well i know that both of these are relatively shitty psu's but the question is due to the fact that i had a corsair vs 550w A.pfc and since it broke or smth I send my computer to the warranty store and had the corsair psu replaced with gx ii 550w the normal standard one not pro.
so I'm willing to know if that is a fair trade is the gx on terms with the corsair worse or better if worse or better by how much ?

This is the only review I could find on the GXII:

They haven't done any real testing on the unit but already found problems.

The unit is in tier 3 on the psu list:

Corsair VS series is tier 4, so maybe the GXII is an improvement.
Personally I wouldn't use either of them.
Can you pay the price difference to get something better?

XFX TS 550
Corsair HCG 520
Rosewill Capstone 550
Seasonic S12II 520

sadly I cannot i wish to , but the store system doesn't accept that and I made a mistake in first place buying the corsair since i was ignorant but well at least now I have learned something and the corsair served me quite well for year and a half so if the gx can do the same i would be happy enough :)
