I am currently playing Arma 3 with an i3-6100, 8gb ram, and no graphics card. I know this is a cpu intensive game (i'm trusting what i'm reading on forums), and when i'm in multiplayer servers, i'm getting about 23fps at the absolute lowest video settings.

I know i could overclock my cpu to possibly improve performance (do i even need to do this? My cpu is better in specs and newer than the recommended cpu on arma 3's minimum / recommended specs) with my asrock z170 pro4 motherboard, but i also read that i would have to disable the integrated graphics if i overclock, and without a graphics card, that would defeat the purpose.

I don't want to spend any more than $100, so what is the best card that money can buy around that price? I want to play at the highest settings possible, and i'd be okay with 40-50 fps, all at 1080p.

Please don't suggest i replace my current hardware. I just want help in choosing a graphics card.

Also, could you point me somewhere to learn how to choose a graphics card? It seems more complicated than choosing a cpu, mobo, or ram. All i know what i need is the ability to play at max settings at 1080p, at at least 40-50 fps. I'd be willing to reduce some settings bit by bit if that's necessary given my $100 price limit.

Thanks a lot for the help.
