Ive had a 2 GB Gtx 680 for about 3 years now and I dont want to completely buy a new PC because of money atm, Im looking to upgrade my PC. Im not sure about how many watts I have in my PSU but I have an I-7 3820 @ 3.6 Ghz and I want to upgrade my graphics card. Im thinking 1070 or 1080. I have 32 GB of Ram so im good there.
My questions are, should I update my CPU in order to get good performance with these cards? Or will they do fine if I pop out the 680 and slap one of em in there.
And which card should I pickup? 1080 or 1070
