Unknown files encryption

some of my excel & word files got converted into " CAD13EDA1C7C3369BB2B8BD002A92D5B" this due to unkown issue, could you suggest/advice me on how to get rid of this & get my data retrieved ? answer me at [email address removed by moderator]

There is a virus that causes files to be encrypted, but it will come up with messages about what you need to do to get them decrypted. Without knowing when or how this happened, no way to know how to fix it. In most cases there is no way to recover changed files aside from restoring from a backup. Need more details, did you have a virus? Did anything get installed/uninstalled/changed right before this happened. Did you already run a virus and malware scan? Malwarebytes is good, as is running a rescue disk to boot from and run a scan that way, Avira has one I like to use, but most other AV vendors have them.
