Ok I would like the cheapest gaming rig that can run doom 4 on ultra max settings getting at least 100 fps at 4k, include the monitor, while recording. Is it possible to build one?

"What about 4 Titans" Do you know anything at all about multi-GPU scaling? Most games are not engineered to take advantage of multiple video cards, let alone four of them. In fact, in modern games even AAA developers don't really touch SLI/Crossfire. Nvidia, for their GTX 1080, does not officially support more than 2-way SLI. Want to know why? Poor scaling.

"What about 60fps?" If you run DOOM on ultra graphics (not maxed, ultra -- Nightmare is maxed) then you can get 4K 40-60fps. You won't get 100fps though. Those video cards don't exist yet. You'll have to wait for the video cards with HBM 2.

I thought I seen a computer that had that many gpu in them before, guess I did not, my bad. If nighmare settings is maxed at 4k getting 40-60 fps is possible, then can you leave a pcpartpicker list? Make it as cheap as possible but still able to get those settings.

Any lower and you'd bottleneck the GTX 1080s, have not enough wattage, etc etc. This is if you want to try and get to 4K 100fps (which you won't, but you may get near). With 1 GTX 1080 4K 40-60fps might be achievable, but probably not at "nightmare" graphics settings

By the way, if you think that's expensive, this is how much you'd need to pay in Australia
