quick replacement for gtx 770 until july

okay so my 770 is near death i am getting a 1080 with my tax return in late july but till then i will need a card it doesn't have to be a game smasher but i still want to game with at least medium settings at 1080 i was looking at the r 380 but i'm not sure my budget is about 350-450 AUD any suggestions would be appreciated

the new card will go in ot a build for my partner after i get my new card

the 380 is a good card its i bit more powerful than a 960 however for temporary use i think a 950 is better unless you dont care about the money

Depends a lot on the games you want to play. The 750ti is a solid card for holding over until you get the 1080. Would recommend that too. It depends on how much you want to spend since (I'm in NZ so I know the price inflation struggle) for that money you should be able to get a 760. Maybe even a 960. They're the better cards by a big margin but if it's only a temporary card, it's up to you whether the extra fps or settings are worth the money. 750ti is a good suggestion, though.

So I went a little over budget and got a Asus 970 dc II it was 465 but as I mentioned it will be going in to a new build at the end of next month for my wife anyways. Thank you all for your appoinons
