Hi. I've got my new PC for a few months now. Worked like a charm the first few months until recently things started to get weird. Whenever I run very demanding games like Witcher 3 or Batman Arkham Knight etc, the screen freezes for 2-3 seconds and the display shuts off, but the sound stays on. And this happens 10-15 seconds into the game. This is happening very recently, it's been 2-3 weeks.
My rig:
Core i5 6500 @3.2Ghz
Sapphire AMD R9 380 4GB
G.Skill Ripjaws V 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz.
Gigabyte G1.Sniper B7
Corsair CX600M

Thanks.

Yeah. You should try running AIDA 64 stress testing all the cpu components, gpu, and ram. If you get a crash stop stress testing omething till you dont get a crash. For example, You stress test all components and you get a crash. You don't stress test the cpu and DONT get a crash. It could be motherboard stablility issues or CPU issues. You don't need to test your HDD's

1. Download MSI afterburner and use the in game riva tuner stats thing to check your temps when you load into the game. You want to make sure nothing is overheating, causing the PC to shut down. When you launch into a game, it will require more power to run it. More temps.
2. You have a crap PSU. Since you use it for gaming, the load on that crap PSU will cause it to die soon and provide insufficient power to the GPU. The PSU is rated for office use, even says on the corsair website. Replace the PSU with a high quality unit form the psu tier list. I reccomemd the XFX TS or XTR units. They are the cheapest units out there that re high quality. Or seasonic units. You can't go wrong on them.

I think the temps are fine. CPU hovers at 45-47 degree celsius and GPU stays 70-64 with manual fan speed of 35%.

As for the PSU units you recommended, those aren't available in my country, sadly. Anything else you might know? Antec is available, apparently. What units can be decent enough for my rig?

Honestly you dont have a BAD psu, you might have just gotten a crappy one. Do you still have a warrenty? I would try that before you go spending money on a new PSU, as my CX500m has been fine for gaming for 6 months.

The problem fixed itself for no apparent reason, all games are running fine although I suspect it'll start happening again. Thanks again everyone.
