New computer posts but blue screens during windows install

just built new computer and it posts and let's me go into bios but when I try to install windows I get blue screens with different error codes. I've already tested my ram video card ssds and power supply so its either motherboard or CPU. my CPU was open box but I dont think it was used so any ideas what's causing the problem? I already updated bios as well. the CPU is an i5 4690k and motherboard is asrock z97x killer

yeah I'm pretty sure its a hardware issue because sometimes it just crashes right when I boot up and sometimes I get to begin installing windows before it blue screens
